| Why do you write? There are three reasons. One, I can't find anything good to read these days. Sure there are stories but they don't change you. I believe a book should do that. Two, I write because I have a gift and God has placed that desire in me, to represent him and His purpose in reaching teens. And thirdly, because I have a message to convey. I won't write a book, if it has no purpose. Back to top
| | What will you write next? I have two books on the table. One is a writers manual called The One Way Writer. The other is new series which will dig deep into teen psychology and take on drug addiction and cutting. Both are close to my heart. Back to top
| | What do you do when you aren't writing? I'm not one for relaxing much. When I need a break from writing, I hang out with my family, I love to travel, shoot pool, watch football or shop. But God is always talking to me, so I spend most of my time either with music, or listening to messages that stretch my faith and feed my spirit. Back to top
| | What aspirations do you have other than writing? Well, I have desire to get back to the fashion industry. I hope to design clothing or handbags at a later point in life. Right now, I am happy to tackle ministry and writing. That pretty much fills my day. Back to top
| | What grosses you out? Lots of things. My son loves to collect and create habitats for all sorts of creatures. Sometimes I don't know what I will find in a jar or out in our garage. I'm not one for blood, I can tell you that. And I also don't like leftover food in the sink. It just grosses me out. Back to top
| | What was your favorite childhood memory? When I was in first grade my mom would take us swimming at a pool in CT. The was a horse farm across the way. I would often sneak off to go see this horse and feed it. I believe I got to take a ride a few times, Or it could be just in my imagination. Back to top
| | When did you know you were going to be a writer/minister Writing took a while for me to figure out. But as a child I would always play church on Sunday's. Sometimes I would beg my parents to let me stay home and play church with my brother. I would play a tape and have a sermon. I used stacking tables to make a podium. So I guess that, and playing library as a kid, gave me some foresight. Back to top
| | If you could do something over what would it be? That's a given, I wouldn't have pursued a career in modeling. I can't think of one positive thing I learned. I missed so much of childhood by learning to walk the runway and take pictures, that I never really learned how to form friendships. A girl needs that, growing up. Back to top
